Cycling along the Kamo River

First, we will cycle along the Kamo River as a form of practice. It is an easy ride even for beginners and has a nice atmosphere.

Stroll through Fushimi Inari Shrine

We will guide you on foot through the famous Senbon Torii gates and the vast shrine. If you are not interested, you can skip this part and take a more in-depth route.

Cycling through bamboo forests

The bamboo forests of Arashiyama are famous, but Kyoto has more history and many vast and mysterious bamboo forests. Instead of walking through the crowds, we will cycle through the bamboo forests recommended by local guides where there are no people.

Cycling in Sennyu-ji temple

Some temples have vast grounds and include old roads, historic bridges, schools, etc. You can ride your bike on roads that are also commonly used by local residents.

Cycling the backstreets of Gion

The center of Gion is so crowded that it’s impossible to enjoy cycling, but we’ll ride on the back streets where there are fewer people.
