“BIKE TALK” – New York, BNY Edition -, an online talk event organized by Global Ride, was held. Our guest speaker was “KENNETH J. PODZIBA,” President and CEO of BIKE NEW YORK, a non-profit organization that organizes the world’s largest cycling event, the Bike New York (Five Boro Bike Tour).

After cycling through Central Park and becoming impromptu New Yorkers, we had our next plan ready. We decided to go shopping in SOHO by bike. When traveling in an unfamiliar city, you often rely on the subway, buses, or Uber. However, this makes it difficult to take detours or get a good sense of the city as a whole. That’s why we decided to explore Manhattan by bike this time. I brought my Brompton from Japan, and my friends decided to rent Citi Bikes, a bike-sharing system with stations all over the city. The third installment of the New York City travelogue by popular bicycle youtuber, Kenta-san. Kenta-san participated in Bike New York 2019, and his video from New York City is now available. This time it’s at the Bike New York EXPO, which takes place the day before the event. Kenta-san came to the JAPAN booth to pick up his bib, and there were many goods of interest to Kenta-san for sale at the EXPO.
