“BIKE TALK” – Queensland, Australia Edition -, an online talk event organized by Global Ride, was held. Paul Summers, Director of Tourism Queensland Japan, was our guest and spoke about the state of cycling in Queensland, Australia, and some of the major ride events.

The talk will be facilitated by Taro Shirato (sports navigator and representative of Athlonia), a triathlete and frequent visitor to Queensland himself. Please take a look.

A 1,500 km Journey:
Riding the Long-Distance Event “London–Edinburgh–London”

On August 3, 2025, strong and seasoned cyclists from 50 countries around the world began turning their pedals in London, setting out toward Edinburgh, Scotland. London–Edinburgh–London (LEL) is a long-distance cycling event running roughly 1,500 km: riders travel north from London across Great Britain, turn around in Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh, and return to the start.
